Discover the dark side of Lagers! These kinds of beer are mostly to be found in Southern Germany - predominantly in Bavaria and in Franconia especially. The fact that dark beers are mostly brewed south of the so-called "veal sausage equator", i.e. in the South of Bavaria, has a reason: In former times brew water was not processed in a processing plant. That means that water hardness had a direct influence on the beer color. On our menu you will find many Franconian classics as well as rather tough Doppelbocks for the connoisseur.
